aion 2 (week 2 review)

Currently am level 34. I put in maybe 2 hours a day. Some days more others less. I do not sit and play these games for hours on end. Especially not being at the end spot of the game. What has me most excited is trying to pvp.

But what I wanted to point out here, is just how p2w the game (pay 2 win). As you can see from the video and images, this illustrates the extent of the advantage you can get with your wallet, or purse.

I also didn’t realize that there is a daily limit to kina and abyss points. So no, you cannot no life this. And of course the dungeons are limited as well. Its not really THAT big of a deal to me. But as I’ve stated I am not end game. And so for me now, currently I am not at all competitive. I am certain when I get further, I will start to feel this sting more. And not unlike black desert or anything other mmo it very well make or break me.

Speaking of Black Desert, that trash heap robbed me of a lot of time and money. For them its no consequence. The show must go on. I was convinced their combat was next level. But honestly, after playing a couple dozen classes. I started to see that its really not at all that complex. And the nuances and similarities from class to class aren’t all that different from any other mmorpg.

What kills me about that game, is that the dictatorship is the whiney soy infused fem boys who garner them their attention. And sadly trying to escape them, is giving up gaming itself.

Currency on currency! and that is the obstacle and confusion of a good deal of these games. You do have the in-game currency and then there is the innumerable currency’s that require to spend your hard earned money.

As I did point out in the video there is a currency that you are able to obtain by playing. And I am not sure, but I am fairly certain everything has a limit to purchase.

I am actually enjoying myself so far in this game. And a lot of that has more to do with the games performance and less to do with anything else. Do you know how frustrating it is to play that polished turd Black Desert? a game that I watch people speak up about like it solved cured cancer or something. That game performs poorly. Yes I am aware people with i9 processors and the best of the best video cards applauding it. But for us average or below average, its just not cutting the mustard.
