The vocals are almost hinting at Obituary. But the music itself is unapologetic thrash metal for certain. And with the heightened production and overall sound and feel, a very worthwhile effort.
I have never been aware of this band until last night. Just randomly stumbled on this video. I was actually in a discord call at the very moment, and I couldn’t believe what my ears were hearing. I had to actually confirm the dates, because this didn’t sound like something from this generation. But it is indeed modern day thrash metal.
Every now and again, my ears get a pitch perfect idea of metal done right, and this one of those rare moments.
