Sega CD / 1996

I played and beat the original Shadowrun on the SNES. I never played much of the genesis port of it. This particular port interested me, firstly because its a sega cd title, and secondly because of the series itself. I have always been interested in cyberpunk and wouldn't ya know it, this modern day and age here today. We are now faced and surrounded with a lot of the themes and elements that are now affecting us today.

1999

[ ORIGINAL ERA ]

The Beginning

My journey into web development began in late 90s into the early 2000s. I started out on the internet with american online. It was through that service that I learned to use a web site utility that was included with it. I never got too far using that. I had much more fun searching the source code of websites and digging into the HTML myself. This is how I started to discover ways to build and design my own pages. And the first web site I did was not the Sega Reform. It was probably a Dragon Ball website or something to do with Anime honestly. But my first love and interest of the web was with my Sega Reform webpage.

2003

[ THE HTML YEARS ]

Another Redesign

I steered away from the Sega Reform, and with that I got the idea to begin Devout Craziness. I remember that website started during and around the time I was in recovery at the City Rescue Mission in Lansing Michigan. Towards the end of that program, I would go to my mom's house and I would use her computer to upload things that I would draw and think about while living at the program. This was the initial building blocks of the site.

2010

[ THE DEAD ERA ]

BARGAINENING WTH THE DEVIL

During this time my personality and psychology changed dramatically. I started to abuse drugs/alcohol more. And I became less in touch with reality and worst of all, I lost any consideration or interest in spirituality. This really destroyed me, and gutted me. I became fed with myself, and with life. I wanted to die. I did actually get into some random and severe auto accidents. And later tried a myriad of pills to kill myself. The worst attempt was with a rope, that I found myself laying on the ground with bruising around my neck, and feeling completely just void and numb. I had no idea how I could have survived through that, I must have passed out while hanging in the door frame, and I eventually fell to the floor. As I said, I had noticeable bruising around my throat. I was in and out of mental hospitals, psychiatric facilities, you name it! been there and done it. Multiple times, whether it be Forest View, Pine Rest, Insight Psychiatric Hospital and Stonecrest Center. I was a mess, and in extreme distress. I couldn't shake the feeling that I needed and wanted to die, but why??? because to me, life had no meaning. But then......

2020

[ NEW BEGINNING ]

I Found God

All throughout my life I was born into a world that shared and showed Christianity, it was on the TV it was in the streets. And I knew it was something big, because everywhere I looked I saw the cross and buildings, and everything illustrating and talking about Christianity. But then it became clear to me the money and problems, and agonizingly AND disgusting! sin! the worthless and vile sin, that destroys lives. I saw it in the man on the sidewalk wearing a mini skirt and a wig with a beard, and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. I started to see it in my own friends and family, and in the community. I began to see sin clear and plain jane. And it made me aware of God. This will especially evident when the biden and kamala era of politics was happening. And mind you, I have never! in my life been into politics, not a single inch of me, would give any interest to it. Because I thought politics didn't concern me, I was a low life, working class, and politics belonged to the wealthy and elite. And that is when I started to see the diametrical effect of Christianity on humans and politics, and in life itself.

what am I doing?

My plans and intentions are to continue to use this website to share my thoughts and views and offer my critical opinion and analysis on media and entertainment. Giving evidence of one thing, and that being Christ and God Himself. I want to bring back God into the world. I want Christmas to feel like it did when I was a kid. I want thanksgiving to have the same kind of friendliness and home and love that I grew up with. I did have a lot of great memories from my life, and trying to untangle them from the trauma and the chaos has been the best gift and evidence of God that I have ever experienced. And I continue to see Him move and operate today. And the holy spirit is a real thing, and you will eventually know it yourself, but it doesn't just happen over night. It takes time, and it takes a lot of dedication and prayer.
